A polished wooden dance floor marked with neat, bright stripes forming line dance rows, stretching toward a large window that reveals a hint of Hunstanton’s seafront promenade and beach huts in the distance. Photographic realism captures scuffed yet shiny floorboards, reflecting soft, golden hour light pouring in from the side. Colorful dance trainers and patterned cowboy boots are neatly lined up along the edge, suggesting diverse ages and abilities without showing people. Shot from a low, slightly angled perspective, the composition emphasizes repeating lines and rhythm, creating an energetic, playful mood that feels welcoming and community-focused.

It is always a joy to dance with Louise. She is so enthusiastic and her lovely nature shines through together with her good sense of humour. I find her teaching style completely suits me as she is very clear in terms of instructions but also demonstrates the steps beautifully with such clear and precise footwork. The atmosphere in class is relaxed and it feels a safe place to make a mistake. I don’t feel I have to be perfect,  I’m able to enjoy myself. However, I have made a lot of progress over the years. The music choice is great, we have such fun. Louise’s lesson is an important part of my week and I really miss it when I’m unable to attend. I feel it is a privilege to attend Louise’s line dancing class.

I joined Louise’s line dancing class at a difficult time in my life after a close friend encouraged me to come along. It has given me so much more than exercise – it’s brought fun, laughter, and an hour each week where I can completely switch off. I’ve been so grateful for that escape, and I’ve made some wonderful new friends along the way. One of the things I love most is that the class appeals to a wide age range, from young adults to pensioners, bringing us all together as one. It’s such a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Who would have thought Monday nights could be so much fun! Thank you Louise for creating such a welcoming and supportive class.

A close-up, photographic shot of a pair of well-worn, tan leather line dancing boots with decorative stitching, placed mid-step on a gleaming wooden floor. The boots’ soles show subtle scuff marks, and a faint reflection shimmers beneath them. In the softly blurred background, colored floor markers and stacked folding chairs hint at a community hall setting near Hunstanton. Warm, directional lighting from overhead creates crisp but gentle shadows, emphasizing movement and rhythm. Framed using the rule of thirds and a shallow depth of field, the image feels dynamic and playful, capturing the energy of a line dancing class without showing any people.

My line dancing journey began over 4 years ago when boredom with the gym led me to look for exercise that is friendly and fun. Louise offers easy to follow tuition for complete beginners as well as improver sessions for established line dancers wishing to progress. I was hooked from the first class and have flourished in the inclusive and welcoming environment Louise has created. Her passion to motivate and inspire others to dance is contagious and is evident in the popularity of her classes. Line dancing with Louise is the highlight of my week and I would recommend to anyone wishing to combine fun, fitness and friendship.

Line dancing with Louise is a great night out. When we started over 2 years ago, we’d never danced a step but Louise talks you through the steps so everyone can keep up and enjoy the dancing from day one. Louise is incredibly professional and supportive to everyone in the room, especially those new to the group. We’ve met so many fun loving fellow dancers and love to practice the old ones and learn new routines with lots of laughs along the way. And it gets your step count up so great at keeping fit! Our mantra now, thanks to Louise, is ‘love, laugh, line dance!’.

Excellent Line Dancing classes with Louise. Louise chooses an eclectic selection of line dances each week starting from beginner through to advanced. We follow Louise as she demonstrates each dance step by step before playing the music for that particular dance each time. If you get muddled with the steps, there is always another more experienced dancer to follow! A very lively and highly enjoyable class. Highly recommended.

When I first went along to Line Dancing with Louise in October 2021 I thought I would give it until Christmas as I didn’t think it would be for me. Nearly 5 years later I’m still going and loving every minute, even when I come home from work exhausted I still go! I only miss a class if I’m away on holiday.

I started Line Dancing with Louise 3 years ago as a beginner and now much more competent due to her expert tuition and guidance. Louise is very friendly and gives clear, easy to follow instructions for every dance with demonstrations. I look forward to our classes each week as they have a good friendly atmosphere and are hugely enjoyable.

I started dancing with Louise a couple of years ago and it is now the highlight of my week. I had never line danced before and I was a little nervous, but Louise instantly put me at ease. And yes I was that dancer that often ended up facing in a different direction from everyone else, making the other dancers giggle. Louise makes the classes fun and easy to learn and everyone is so helpful and friendly.

We find it excellent for both our physical and mental well being and we love the great tunes and dances.

Dancing has always been a part of my long life. Victor Silvester ballroom, rock and roll, twist, tap and line, so much pleasure, so much fun. Lovely people, dozens of dance teachers, men women young and old, all different, all good in their own way. Louise is my current teacher, young and lovely, brings the lessons to life. Talks and walks us through, counts the steps, where necessary reminds us where the breaks and restarts arrive. Gets to know us all, listens to our pleasures and problems, an all-round top teacher, thank you Louise.
